Recently, we embarked on an exciting journey with RUTHMANN ITALIA S.R.L., led by the vision of HR Manager Francesco Marzi, to discover how the power of play and facilitation can be the key to unlocking a team’s true potential. Here’s how Playnbe made a difference.

The Starting Point: Vision and Guiding Principles

Our journey began two years ago, with the definition of the vision and guiding principles for RUTHMANN ITALIA’s personnel development through the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method. What does it mean to be an engaging company? What guides us daily, what makes us act in the sense of a company that puts humans at the center? This first step not only laid the foundation for a shared path but also ignited the spark of innovation and creativity within the team.

Strengthening the Foundation: Collaboration and Creativity

With fertile ground prepared, the second step saw the company’s core team arm themselves with techniques for effective collaboration, collective and creative intelligence, enriched by a seminar on personal leadership. We worked with advanced tools for building team spirit, defined the desired communication style, roles and responsibilities of each, ‘in and out’ behaviors for working well together, and individual and collective corrective actions to be adopted. We also defined an action plan to achieve an optimal employee experience through Design Thinking. Everyone took responsibility for embodying their leadership style and influencing the collaborative potential to the fullest. From a promising group, we moved to an empowered team: autonomous, responsible, and ready to make a difference.

This Year’s Focus: Spreading Effective Communication

This year, the focus shifts to the practice of effective communication, both operational and relational, as a strategic lever for performance. After training in assertive communication tools, based on role-plays and sector case studies, it’s now about implementing mentoring, tutoring, and co-development actions to spread these essential practices to other colleagues, creating an internal learning community. Step by step, we’re building a culture of shared leadership, accessible at all organizational levels.

Beyond Facilitation: A Path of Transformation

Facilitation, often seen only as a tool for seminars or strategic meetings, here reveals its full transformative potential. This journey strengthens the belief that, combined with coaching and training, it can become a powerful catalyst for change, starting with people, their willingness to engage, learn, and collaborate.

Collaborators are no longer mere spectators but key actors in corporate change. Through this journey with Playnbe, we’ve seen the team transform, embrace new challenges, and become a true protagonist in the company’s story.
